I finished up the new reflector today and it works great! There is a noticeable improvement in the clarity of the sound especially in the highs. The treble seems less harsh and midrange much more clear. It almost gives it a more open and smooth sound if that makes sense. I was so excited building it...
It's been quite a while since I have done anything with this so I decided to finally do some revisions on some things. Firstly, I replaced one of the BMR drivers with a Dayton Audio 3" reference driver which has a richer midrange. I felt the BMR's were a bit lacking in the lower mids. I also de...
Since I started college, I have primarily used my two laptops for work. They have worked exceptionally well however, as my workloads become larger, programs become more demanding, and time becomes more of a premium, I realized I need something a bit quicker and more powerful. My previous desktop fro...

Since I was 14, I wanted to build a foundry and cast my own parts. It was the cheapest and most viable way for me to make metal parts. I recently just put together a very simple and inexpensive foundry from bricks around my yard and a propane weed burner. It works surprisingly well and I have been a...

Last week we had a hard drive fail in the main datastore RAID array. The server was taken offline until a replacement drive came in. Since the array was configured as a RAID 1 virtual drive, there was no data loss, only downtime.
